June/July Service Project: Care Packages

It has become a tradition for the Central family to prepare a care package of snacks and supplies for relatives of our church family who are serving overseas. This year, we’re preparing four packages, to be sent to Iraq and Afghanistan. This is one small way we let them know that we appreciate their service and remember them, even though they’re far away. The packages are being prepared for shipment on July 6. Items such as books and magazines, jerky, trail mix, snack crackers and protein bars are welcome. We have boxes in the back to collect the items, which need to be here by July 5 for shipment on July 6.
