In October, 2007, members of
Central collected school supplies at the Wal-Mart in New
Hope Commons to provide children at the local battered
women's shelter. Thanks to the generosity of the people
of Durham, we collected enough to provide the shelter
more than they would need. The remainder went to the
Durham Rescue Mission.
