The members of the Central Church of Christ are part of a
larger fellowship of believers who have responded to God's
call to become followers of His Son, Jesus. We share some
common beliefs about God and His will for us:
- God created the universe and everything in it,
including us.
- The Bible is God's instruction manual for us. It was
inspired by Him and, therefore, is accurate as originally
written. It tells us who God is, who we are and how He
wants us to live and act.
- Being given to us by God to show us His plans for us,
the Bible is understandable by all, with His
guidance.
- God wants everyone to be in relationship with Him by
being in relationship with Jesus, His Son.
- We enter into relationship with God by joining with
Jesus in baptism.
- All baptized believers are added to the church by God
and, thus, are brothers and sisters.
- God has called us to live, grow and serve as a church
family, not as individual Christians.
- In order for us to grow as God's family, He has given
each of us special gifts and talents that He expects us
to use in His service.
